Euphoric Source began its journey in 2013 when Melissa and Andrew Graves, inspired by the film The Secret, had a profound conversation about their dreams of healing the world. Both were frustrated with their respective industries: Melissa, a nurse, witnessed declining patient care and restrictions on compassion, while Andrew, working for a large corporation, saw unethical practices like inflation and exploitation. This shared discontent became the foundation of their vision.

Shortly after, Melissa discovered her natural ability to heal through touch when a supervisor, hearing patients speak of Melissa's gift, asked for help with a headache. Melissa's prayerful touch provided relief; her supervisor likened it to Reiki. Intrigued, Melissa pursued Reiki training, earning her Master Teacher certification, and trained Andrew as a Reiki Practitioner. The couple began traveling with a massage table, offering in-home healing services while balancing jobs and family life. Melissa's thirst for knowledge led her to explore multiple modalities, blending them into a unique healing style she and her husband would perfect.

In 2014, Euphoric Source received its first award from Thumbtack as the Best Reiki Healer in Minnesota, validating their dedication and skill.

The Growth of Euphoric Source

​

In 2015, they secured a small room at the Ashland Arts Building. With faith and determination, Melissa left her nursing career to focus on Euphoric Source. By 2016, they opened a storefront, added a small library, and offered lithomancy readings. In 2017, the center expanded to include a yoga room and began hosting classes, workshops, and vendor events. That same year, Melissa attended a convention at Harvard, where her collaboration with quantum physicists and metaphysical scientists affirmed her ability to connect spirituality with science. Inspired, Melissa and Andrew expanded Euphoric Source to include five healing rooms, occupying a third of the building.

In 2018, Melissa became an ordained minister, enabling the center to offer services like weddings, baptisms, and funerals. Emalie, a student of Melissa's, joined as a massage therapist, expanding the center's body services and later investing in learning new modalities. Euphoric Source began hosting festivals and retreats, furthering its impact.

Adapting Through Challenges

 

The COVID-19 pandemic in 2019 brought significant challenges but also new opportunities. Melissa and Andrew acquired lab equipment from a closing lab, including centrifuges, oscilloscopes, frequency generators, incubators, ultrasounds, sound beds, sound therapy tools, phlebotomy tools, and EKG machines from metaphysical centers and doctor offices. With restricted healing services, Melissa focused on ministry work and writing. She also began working with the autistic and cancer communities, offering free services to support their growth and healing. In 2020, as businesses reopened, Euphoric Source evolved into a full-fledged metaphysical center, offering an expanded array of healing modalities and tools to meet the growing needs of its community.

In 2021, the children joined in, and with the newly gained equipment, the family started two documentaries: The Science Behind Energy Healing and How to Speak to the Voice When the Soul Is Silent. During this time, Melissa was diagnosed with terminal neuroblastoma, a cancer affecting her adrenal glands, brain, and thyroid. Determined to fight naturally, Melissa found renewed purpose, developing a mycelium capable of purifying pollution through natural bioremediation.

Melissa's legacy grew. In 2022, Andrew worked additional jobs to support medical expenses while Emilie worked the center alone. Melissa's son Chase stepped in to help keep the store afloat. Emalie answered a spiritual call to become a healer in Melissa's place. The team began testing the mycelium's efficacy.

 

 

A New Vision for Euphoric Source

 

In 2023, with medical bills mounting, the couple closed the storefront to focus on Melissa's treatments. Emalie continued to provide healing services and deepened her role as a Shaman. By 2024, Melissa's naturopathic therapies and energy sessions had shown promising results. She returned to Euphoric Source with a renewed vision: transforming the center into a sanctuary for community healing, spiritual growth, and scientific exploration.

With the store gone, the space was reimagined to welcome those seeking guidance and connection without judgment. Melissa's daughter Isabelle joined, bringing her skills as an eyelash technician to the sanctuary. Melissa, Emalie, and Isabelle are now focused on remodeling Euphoric Source into a sanctuary and science center, continuing their groundbreaking work with the Fungi Mycovescoroluem (derived from "myco" for mycelium, "vector" for feeding, and "oleum" for oil), this fungus was designed to clean waters polluted by oil. Commonly referred to as "The Ark of Redemption," it symbolizes humanity's effort to heal the planet and redeem itself for the harm caused to nature. Preparing to reopen in January 2025. Currently, services are offered by appointment only.

Future Goals and Legacy

 

Euphoric Source envisions a harmonious future where spirituality, science, and religion coexist and complement each other. The dream is to build a temple with an open lab and library, offering resources on diverse subjects and religions, where people can discover similarities and unique differences through self-study and open resources. By highlighting the shared truths across beliefs, they aim to foster unity and compassion. The sanctuary will provide workshops, seminars, and healing sessions, allowing anyone to receive care regardless of their ability to pay.

The team also plans to collaborate with bioremediation experts, using their mycelium innovations to heal the planet while continuing to heal its people. At its core, Euphoric Source strives to be remembered as a force of faith, righteousness, and compassion. It is dedicated to serving the greater good and inspiring future generations to create a balanced, harmonious world through collective efforts.
